Summertime – Sommerzeit

Meine freien Tage verbringe ich bei schönem Wetter gerne draußen. Ist das Meer zu weit weg, tut es für mich auch ein See in Berlin oder Brandenburg. Immer vorausgesetzt, es gibt ein paar schattenspendende Bäume und einen FKK Bereich. Wir waren also auf dem Rückweg in die Stadt und da lag es am Wegesrand: ein Wiesenstück voller Mohnblumen.

My days off I spend
in nice weather like outside. If the sea is far away, it does for me also a
lake in Berlin or Brandenburg, always assuming there are a few shady trees and
a nudist area. So we were on our way back to the city and because it was along
the way: a piece of meadow full of poppies.


Für ein Fotoshooting kann einem ja kaum etwas besseres passieren, als in
der Abendsonne über eine Sommerwiese zu laufen, um Blümchen zu pflücken. Und
weil die blau-weiß-rote Pracht leider bis zum französischen
Nationalfeiertag nicht mehr halten wird, zeige ich Euch die Bilder
gleich heute.

For a photo shoot nothing
better than in the evening Sun run over a summer meadow to pick flowers. And
because the blue-white-red splendor will no longer keep up to the French
national holiday, I show you the pictures today.

Ausserdem hat Ines, die uns im Juli hauchdünn behangen sehen will, in einem Kommentar zu recht bemängelt, dass mein Kleid in einem kürzlich veröffentlichten Beitrag viel zu kurz kam. Dabei ist es gar nicht so kurz.

who wants to see us hung gossamer in July, criticized in a commentary rightly
that my dress comes too short in a recent post. It is not so short already.
Und wie ich dieses Kleid fand, möchte ich Euch auch noch fix erzählen: An der Tauentzienstrasse Ecke Nürnberger war früher Nike-Town und ich war verrückt nach Sportschuhen. Sie mussten weiß sein und das Nike Zeichen darauf sollte unbedingt hellblau sein. Jemand hatte solche Schuhe und ich wollte genau die gleichen haben. (Erwähnte ich schon, dass ich keinen eigenen Geschmack habe?)

And as I found this
dress, I want you even tell: on Tauentzienstraße at the corner Nürnberger Strasse
was formerly Nike Town and I was crazy about sports shoes. They had to be white
and the Nike sign it should necessarily be light blue. Someone had those shoes
and I wanted to have exactly the same. (Did I mention that I have no own
taste?)
Das Zeichen stellt einen Flügel der griechischen Siegesgöttin Nike dar. Und wer ist nicht gerne Sieger oder Göttin oder alles zusammen? Jedenfalls kaufte ich dort auch immer mein Equipment für’s Fitnessstudio und auch bunte Freizeitkleidung und dann, eines Tages zog Nike aus und um und uniqlo – die umsatzstärkste japanische Textilkette –  fand 2014 ihre Berliner Dependance in dem Eckladen.

The label
represents a wing of the greek goddess of victory Nike. And who does not like
winning or goddess or all together? Anyway, I bought there whatever for my gym equipment’s
and also colorful casual wear. And then one day Nike drew from and Uniqlo – the
top-selling Japanese textile chain – found in 2014 its Berlin branch in the
corner store.
Ich ging da nie hin, suchte nicht mal den Namen im Netz. Mich interessierte das nicht mehr. Obwohl ich wirklich viel in der Gegend  bin, denn das KaDeWe ist nicht weit und mein Freund hat einen Gummi-Shop im Europacenter und ich gehe ihn gelegentlich besuchen. So sah ich zwar immer nur Tausende Touristen Tüten tragen und kümmerte mich aber nicht weiter darum.

I never went there,
not even looking for the name in www. How does the interest. Even though I’m
really often in the area, because the KaDeWe is nearby and my friend has a
rubber shop in Europa Center and I go to visit him. So I saw while only
thousands of tourists carry bags and did not care more about.
Dann kam der 19. Mai 2015 und ich besuchte Sabina auf meiner täglichen Blogrunde und sie schwärmte von uniqlo und ich wusste, dass ich mir nun endlich selbst ein Bild machen muss. Also: nix wie hin. Ein Parkhaus (vom Europa Center) gibt es in der Nürnberger Strasse und nach 1,5 Stunden Stöberei bezahlte ich ein gelbes Oversize Shirt, einen Minirock, 2 bunte Daunenwesten (passend zu den Supercolor Superstars) und eben dieses geringelte Kleid.  Also sage ich artig: DANKE liebe Sabina, für Deinen wertvollen Tipp.

Then came the 19
May 2015 and I visited Sabina on my daily blog round and she raved about Uniqlo
and I knew that I finally have to take a picture myself. So let’s get out. A
parking garage (the European Center) there is in the Nürnberger Strasse and
after 1.5 hours looking around i paid a yellow oversize shirt, one miniskirt, 2
colorful down vests (matching the Supercolor Superstars) and it is this striped
dress. So I say thanks: Thank you dear Sabina, for your valuable tip.
